Lyn offers individual counselling to adults dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, workplace issues, perinatal mental health, transitions, grief and loss.

When your life’s experiences become confusing or overwhelming I will help you work through your problems objectively, with compassion and empathy. I work collaboratively with people to help them make sense of their experiences, to develop skills in order to discover a way amidst life’s difficulties, towards a more fulfilling and vital life.

Everyone has their own unique inner strengths and opportunities for growth and transformation and I love to journey with you and help you discover them in order to live a life of vitality.

I prefer to use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Self Compassion and Mindfulness to bring about change. I take a holistic approach that includes exploring your emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of your life.

Prior to joining the Wellbeing Clinic I worked in corporate and not for profit sectors. My work consisted of assessment for career development and helping individuals and groups develop workplace resilience and wellbeing.

I work across a range of issues that adults face: managing anxiety, panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety, performance anxiety , workplace stress and bullying, psychological injury, emotional regulation, depression and other mood disorders including perinatal mental health. I also work with clients managing the effects of post traumatic stress and developing resilience to stress.

Other areas I work with include sleep problems, individuals working through relationship issues, adjustment issues, grief and loss, life transitions, health anxiety, perfectionism, procrastination, self esteem and confidence issues. I am registered to work with clients under Workcover, NDIS and EAP.
